Company
Electronic Design Solutions is a privately owned, Hispanic small business. Located in the HUB zone of downtown Frederick, our office has controlled access. In addition to Printed Circuit Design services, we offer training, project management, turnkey, consulting, and auto routing services. Our designers are IPC and NHB certified, yielding the highest quality designs. Our goal is to offer on time quality design services.
Community Involvement
Since 1996, Electronic Design Solutions Inc has been active helping in the local community. EDSI has assisted local elementary schools, homeless shelters, and local fire departments. ESDI has facilitated cooperation between the University of Maryland and Altium. Electronic Design Solutions is an active partner with the IPC Chesapeake Designer's Council, volunteering time and resources to promote the industry.
Special Projects
In 2005, ProParts LLC set out to design and manufacture the best automotive gauges in the industry. Their new design featured a micro-processor controlled brushless motor drive system, packaged in the space of a D size battery. EDSI was selected to design and move this product from prototype to production. With 17 individual patents, the design was so advanced, Hendrix Motorsports petitioned NASCAR to use the new gauges in their race cars. Read the full article in the Frederick News Post.
